Maytag Bravos XL MEDB750YW 7.3 Cu. Ft. Electric White Dryer Review
A dryer whose biggest strength is the fact that it turns on automatically when you open the door.
Like the cast of a high school musical, the Maytag Bravos XL MEDB750YW tries very hard to do a good job but falls somewhat short of professional quality. Your clothing will almost get completely dry. The list of available cycles is almost comprehensive and varied. The amount of extra features is almost...actually, the extra features are quite skimpy on this machine. What it boils down to is that the Maytag Bravos XL MEDB750YW, like Shrek the Musical, is a high priced item that just doesn't have the depth found in some of its other contemporaries. A $999 MSRP puts the Bravos right smack dab in the middle of a chorus line of high-quality dryers, but the persistent stumbling means this dryer should be one of the first to get the axe. With a price tag like that, consumers can get a much more comprehensive, effective, and user-friendly appliance without even having to hunt around all that much. True, there are sale prices as low as $690, but even still, there are other dryers available on the market which are all-around better machines. With the amount of variety in stores today, performance that almost cuts it means this dryer would have been better off as just a phantom.
