A piece of rock 'n' roll history and a Reagan-era clothes dryer? Yes, please!

Have you ever wanted to own a piece of rock 'n' roll history that doubles as a front-loading, Reagan-era clothes dryer? Of course you have—I dream about it every night.

Unfortunately, though, this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity passed last week with the sale of Guns N Roses’ personal touring dryer. That’s right, Guns N Roses owned an electric dryer that they took on the road with them—a Kenmore W-10, to be specific. I don’t know what’s more ridiculous—the fact that they hauled a dryer around, presumably to soak up Axl Rose’s booze-soaked stage sweat, or that the eBay item was sold along with its mounted road case.

So does it still work? Who gives a damn? Anyone who pays $300 plus shipping for a decades-old electric dryer is clearly in the market for the novelty, not the drying power.

But if you still want a piece of Guns N Roses history, there are plenty of other items up for grabs on eBay. We couldn’t find any more appliances, so for now you’ll just have to wait until Pearl Jam releases that coveted GE refrigerator they used to preserve Eddie Vedder’s vocal chords.
