Have you ever seen a product and thought, why didn't I think of that? Well, here's another one: a hamper styled after a Nintendo Game Boy.

If you were born too early or too late to be a kid during the Game Boy's heyday, a) I feel sorry for you, and b) it was a monochromatic handheld gaming device that looked like this. It was awesome.

Recently, the folks at ThinkGeek came up with the genius idea of styling a laundry bag after the classic Nintendo system. To avoid any potential lawsuits, they named it "Laundry Boy," but that's probably close enough. The best part? It's only $20.

Weird thing, though: This hamper is clearly designed for children, but today's children have zero recollection of the Game Boy. Most of them probably grew up playing Halo instead of Excitebike. Don't believe me? Watch this:

So that narrows the market down to a very peculiar demo: adult nerds who live in a home where toy hampers are feng shui–friendly. Or, to put it more charitably, adults who are children at heart. Actually, that sounds pretty awesome.

Man... I hate being an adult.
