Amazon is giving you free money to buy Dash buttons

Each button is now $1 with a free $5 Dash purchase credit.

Amazon's Prime Day is still a day away, but that isn't stopping the online retailer from pushing great deals ahead of time. Today, the company has discounted its already affordable Dash buttons to just $1 each.

On top of the $4 savings, Amazon is still including a $5 purchase credit for each button you buy. The credit takes effect "after the first press" of each button.

We haven't formally reviewed Dash buttons just yet, but we do think they're a great way to re-order consumable products. And now that dozens of brands have joined the Dash program, you can order everything from condoms to K-cups to pet food with just a tap.

Each branded button also offers a handful of different products from that brand that you can assign to each button. Of course, you'll still have to approve the purchase from the Amazon app (in case your kids press a button a hundred times), but when you factor in Prime two-day shipping, they could save a lot of time on routine shopping trips.
