James was born and raised in South Africa and arrived in the United States in 2008. He received his Masters in Performing Arts from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Pietermaritzburg. He is an occasional actor who spends most of his free time scouring the web for tasty recipes and attempting overly ambitious DIY projects.
